Welcome to News Extra Springwood Mall

Springwood Mall News was originally established in the Springwood Mall which was developed into the Centro Springwood Shopping Centre in 1986. In 2002 the Shopping Centre was redeveloped and extended to include Woolworths, Target and 45 specialty retailers. Springwood Mall News became part of the News Extra (Nextra) Group in January 2009 and in July 2010 was named the inaugural News Extra Member of the Year. In 2021/22 the Centre was further redeveloped to add more underground carparking, travelators and a lift. A major refurbishment was also completed inside the Mall while a Restaurant Precinct was added on the outside. The Centre changed its name back to Springwood Mall.
